About PHIN : 

People with Hearing Impaired Network ( is a voluntary non profit Disabled People Organization registered under the Societies Act in 2007 under the eminent leadership of MRS V JANAKI, who herself is a speech and hearing impaired woman hailing from the most marginalized family She experienced the discrimination and stigma in the community towards the persons with Disabilities The strong passion never let her to sleep and she started her career as an activist On a survey she found at the ground level that there is no access to quality education especially for poor and the orphan who are very much deprived as there are less number of schools for such children which can be counted on fingers This fact inspired her a lot and made her to establish a residential school for the Deaf (PHIN School) in Hyderabad of Telangana State Her determination to do something to the children like her made her to grow upto the level of running a residential school for the PHIN students with a capacity of 150 students and 1st of its kind for girls in Hyderabad of Telangana State In this journey she achieved many milestones and she finally established this organization ie People with Hearing Impaired Network for helping like minded people with an objective to fulfill the needs and Demands of the Disabled People With the cooperation of the well wishes and philanthrapists volunteers, the school is growing day by day and reaching new heights PHIN is not only running the school but also working with more focus on providing employment, health to the needy It also established its wing in PUNE, Maharashtra State and became successful in delivering quality education as well as awareness among the Disabled Community and she received the Hellen Keller Award in 2007 and she was presented with Lanco Award, and many more appreciations from the individuals and corporates etc and the Role Model Woman National Award in 2013 from then The President of India, HE Sri Pranab Mukherjee

PHIN Deaf School : The School for the Hearing Impaired (Deaf) Children :

People with Hearing Impaired Network (PHIN) is a registered voluntary organization manned by the Disabled People Organization (DPO) working for the hearing impaired children  who are from the most  marginalized families and orphans. PHIN was registered under Societies Act vide No.333/2007. It is running a school for the Deaf Children in Hyderabad of Telangana State and various child empowerment programmes  since 2007. PHIN is providing good quality education by experienced and  dedicated faculty. PHIN  is very much keen in folding the children in a professional way and illuminate their future. Initially it was started with only seven  students but now more than 165 students are receiving free  education with free residential facility including books, uniform, shoes and other essentials. It became a model school in the State of Telangana. PHIN is also providing speech therapy and sign language to the needy students and witnessed enormous progress in their communication. It is working with an objective to bring comprehensive growth among the children in various fields like Sports, Cultural Activities , Quiz, Essay Writing  and painting etc.

Future Vision of the School :

During the decade of experience we found a large number of children with hearing impaired are out of schools and having access to education and also lack of communication and professional skills keeping them away in accessing employment Keeping all these in view PHIN would like to expand its activities and construct own school by creating a corpus fund We are in the process of building networking with various corporate and non corporate in raising the funds We sincerely request the Donors to support our objective and make it successful At present we don’t have any asserts like land to construct the own institution, and requesting the corporate, Banks to supports through their company.
