Milestones and Achievements
- PHIN is providing residential Education to 165 Children hailing from the most marginalised areas and some of them are orphans and single parent children.
- Mainstreamed more than four thousand children in the regular schools through counselling to the Parents, teachers, community.
- 610 hearing impaired trained in various fields and provided jobs in various Corporate and Non-corporate manufacturing companies, retail shops etc.,
- 350 Hearing Aids Distributed with support of the Government and various other organizations.
- Facilitated 60 lakhs loans to the Disabled People Groups through Bankers.
- Organized Hearing Impaired Marriages
- More than 5,000/- hearing impaired trained on UNCRPD PWDs Act 1995, RTE Acts.
- Nearly 500 teachers trained on sign language and barrier free environment CRPD and RTE Acts.
- 80 Legal issues solved through Counselling and filed cases in Human Rights Commission.
- More than one million people created awareness on Sign language and the PWDs Rights through the Posters, Pamphlets Flexies and wall writings etc.
- (8) Members were sent to their parents after caring and educating them for (8) years and they settled in their lives now.
