Founded by Mrs. V. Janaki, a speech and hearing impaired woman and passionate disability rights advocate, PHIN emerged from her determination to create equal opportunities for the deaf community.

Who are the beneficiaries of PHIN?

Our primary beneficiaries are Deaf and hard-of-hearing children, especially girls, from underprivileged and orphaned backgrounds in Hyderabad and Pune.

Is PHIN a registered organization?

Yes, People with Hearing Impaired Network (PHIN) is a voluntary, non-profit Disabled People’s Organization (DPO) established in 2007 under the Societies Act.

Where is the PHIN Deaf Residential School located?

Our head office and school are located in Malakpet, Hyderabad, Telangana. We also have expanded services in Pune, Maharashtra.
